AiA Christmas Child Boxes

Adventures in the Arts kids to Pack Christmas Child Boxes, Can you help?

We are looking for help filling our boxes. If you are packing Christmas Child boxes and have extra items, please consider donating them to AiA! Our AiA kids filled 30+ boxes last year and we hope to do the same this year! Your donations of socks, toothbrushes, toys, stuffed animals, school supplies. Anything that will fit in a shoebox, that is on the list at samaritanspurse.org.

Our AiA kids went “shopping” last year to fill a box for a child just like them! This sends a powerful message to our kids about how much they are loved and in turn can share God’s love with children around the world!

Donations can be left in the bins on Sunday 10-22-23 thru 11-05, or brought to the church office.

Thanks for YOUR help!

Surviving the Holidays

Whether this is your first holiday without a loved one, or it has been one of many, you are invited to join for drinks and dessert. We hope to provide ways to lessen the grief by sharing practical advice and a way forward through the season. For further information, please contact Linda Bertolet,

Thanksgiving Baskets

All of us here at Lighthouse CPC will, once again, provide Thanksgiving food baskets for the families of Holly Hill K-8 school; some of whom are still struggling after having either lost or suffered great damage to their homes from flooding. Last year, we provided 10 baskets and this year, we want to provide for our 20 families. Our church family is loving, caring, generous and I know, that with God's help, we can reach our goal. Starting Sunday, October 22nd through Sunday, November 12th there will be a table outside for both services that will have cards with items that are needed for each basket. You can choose a card (everything from bags of potatoes to grocery gift cards) or you can make a donation and we will purchase the items needed for the baskets. There will also be a container outside the church office where you can leave items during the week if you do not want to bring the items to the Sunday services. The last day we can accept items will be November 15th as we must assemble the baskets for delivery on November 16th.

If you have any questions, or would like to be a part of this ministry, please contact Terry Humleker by calling (386) 274-4152 or emailing bamabelleterrry@gmail.com. Thank you, brothers and sisters, for your help in reaching out to our community!
